Lifebox Fellowship – now recruiting

Could you help develop robust, effective and scalable training to implement the Surgical Safety Checklist in resource-limited settings, and secure the long-term use of this life-saving tool?

Lifebox are looking to recruit a Lifebox Fellow to be based in London but with regular travel to resource-limited settings and to Boston as part of our collaboration with Atul Gawande’s team at Harvard.

The post could be an Out-of-Programme-Experience for a trainee (preferably from a surgical or anaesthetic background) or an opportunity for a senior clinician to take time out from their practice.

The Fellowship will be for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.

If you require any further information or wish to discuss the post informally, then please feel free to contact Kristine Stave via email: kristine@lifebox.org

Closing date for receipt of applications: Friday, 14th June 2013.
